As if I don't have enough art supplies yet; I treated myself to a new fountain pen. And a new jar of ink. It's brown ink form the Dutch brand Akkerman. The color is somehwere between sepia and chocolate brown, depending on how much pressure you use and how much lines you put together. It's water soluble so I can't combine it with watercolours, but I don't need to! When I add water to my in lines, the ink starts flowing (like watercolours do) and I can play with it in many shades of brown! A different approach slash technique: so much fun experimenting and exploring! Here's a selfie I did using my new art toys, after taking a long shower after a long exhausting day, enjoying a long hour of drawing in my sketchbook:
