On King's Day, which used to be Queen's Day for many years, it can be quite crazy and busy here in Amsterdam. This year I was happy to get out of the city, by attending a performance in Naarden of The Dirt Road Music Band, in which my husband is the banjo player, since a few months.
They were great! There's a certain chemistry going on between those men, and it was clear all of them were enjoying the performance a lot. Their stage was on the back of a truck, and they were making it bounce with their blue grass tunes!
