Sharing inspiration - Tommy Kane

Today's inspiration to share is the work of Tommy Kane. He's an illustrator with a great sense of humour. As an advertising art director, he has been 'secretly' drawing and painting during his free time for years, but I'm glad he decided to share it with the world online. You may know his journal drawings form Danny Gregory's books.
Warning: his work can blow you off your socks.

I think every image speaks for itself. Don't forget to read the writings in there - they are sometimes just notes of the day, but more often, hilarious observations.

On his blog Tommy Kane usually adds a paragraph of text to tell a bit more about the drawing. His writing style and self-mockery are very entertaining.
...And then I haven't even showed you his paintings
Or his work on cardboard
Have a look at his advertising work as well.
Enjoy!
